The sale of One City Place to Hermes Investment Management has been shortlisted for Deal of the Year at the North West Insider Property Awards 2018.
The annual event, which is taking place at Manchester Central on May 17th, recognises the very best in the region’s commercial property activity, with around 1,000 people expected to attend.
One City Place was sold in November 2017, allowing Muse Developments to move on to the next phases of the £120 million City Place development, which forms part of Chester’s new Central Business Quarter. The scheme is being brought forward in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council and is expected to attract major investment and new business opportunities to the city of Chester.
One City Place is home to a range of dynamic companies including RSM, Sykes Cottages, Excello Law, Power Solutions (UK), Black and Veatch and SL Investment Management. The remaining space at One City Place is currently in lawyers’ hands, meaning that the building is effectively fully occupied.
Muse Developments is also nominated for Developer of the Year at the awards in May.
