With just under four months until One City Place opens its doors, the site’s development director has been busy telling the business community what the new scheme offers for Chester.
Phil Mayall of Muse Developments took to the stage at the Built Environment Networking event ‘Chester Development Plans 2015’ to update on the 70,000 sq ft office building which takes pride of place in the city’s first Central Business Quarter. A new public gateway featuring a Winter Garden will link Chester Railway Station with the new quarter, leading to the doors of One City Place.
Addressing the audience at Chester Town Hall, Phil said: “When we first looked into developing City Place, we took into account a number of factors such as the economy, businesses, the university and house prices and each showed a demand for high quality office space. With a strong vision to drive investment and employment opportunities in the region, Cheshire West and Chester Council have been instrumental in helping bring this project come to light.”
Phil also spoke at Hill Dickinson’s annual Developers’ Conference held at Chester Zoo on the future development landscape and where potential development opportunities lie.
